Super 8 Drowsy Driving

The brand wanted to launch a campaign that brings the facts around driving drowsy into the spotlight. Since Super 8 is a well-known road trip brand, we wanted to highlight that we are always there when you tired. For this, I created the webpage, display banners, as well as Waze banners to life. We had an agency make the videos for us, and we provided art direction. This campaign went so well that we ran it with AARP as a sponsor as well.

The creative direction for this was that there are hula girls, dogs, or any ornament for your car that is always your co-pilot and can see when you are getting overtired and dozing off. So they would speak up when your driving crazy, falling
asleep or trying the old open the window and play loud music trick that doesn't work.

To the left is the social post that we had created with our video. It was a series of three different videos that each spoke to different drowsy driving facts. The one featured here is the compilation of all three together.

To the right is what the landing page that I designed. Our sites are made up of different components, so I made a few iterations of the layout with color and copy before we landed and had the one on the right approved. Along with the video to spread the brand and safe driving awareness, we also had a pledge the consumers could take to show there support and pledge not to drive drowsy.

To get people to the website, we created two series of display banners that we ran when all of this went live. Below are the two sets that I created using brand templates and creating new ones when needed to accommodate copy changes and other elements.
