2014 Wyndham Hotel Group wanted to change its appearance. The team worked hard to re-platform and redesign the websites to become responsive. This project was an excellent opportunity to work with a team and to help make design approvals.

I was able to answer questions and help out the team, all working over the months to get the brands live on a very aggressive timeline.

To the left is an example of what our Days inn site looked like before we redesigned it. We were limited in what we could do on the websites, all the copy was not live type instead burned onto the imagery.

Our 16 brands were on multiple content management systems at this time, so this also brought them all on one. We had to design all the brands in there our flare and style why using the components we created for the websites.

To the left is the full view of the entire homepage so you can see how we changed it. We applied
this across all brands with there fonts, colors
and stylings.


 

On the right is the new version of the property page. I went through many property pages during this project to ensure that the code all translated correctly, and the images and content were correct. For many pages and properties, I was in charge of editing imagery that was needed.

For this project, I pulled imagery for the new sites, as well as vetted that imagery on the websites was correct. We had to rebuild all pages as well as every single property page that consumers could book on, and they all had to be tested.
